Pathogenicity tests verifying the behavior of Septoria tritici isolates should be considered as a priority in the selection of resistant wheat materials to this pathogen, since the aggressiveness of each isolate can vary significantly, causing problems in the evaluation and selection of resistant genotypes. The objective of this work was to determine whether physiologic specialization exists among Argentinean and American Septoria tritici isolates, through the analysis of their pathogenicity on cultivars and lines of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Se realizaron cruzas a partir de accesiones de jitomate riñón, de Hidalgo, Puebla y Tabasco, con resistencia de tipo cuantitativa a Fusarium oxysporum, que fungieron como receptores, con un genotipo comercial de tipo saladet (Variedad. Río Grande), que fue el donador de polen, para obtener híbridos resistentes y con frutos de forma redonda y lisa. También se realizó selección a partir de jitomates riñón por forma redonda, lisa y con resistencia a enfermedades. The objective of this study was to assess susceptibility and classify peach cultivars in relation to rust (Tranzschelia discolor) under field conditions. The study was conducted in an orchard during the 2007/08 and 2008/09 growing seasons and included the cultivars: Aurora 1, Chimarrita, Chiripá, Coral, Eldorado, Granada, Leonense, Maciel, Marli, Premier and Vanguarda.
